South African police hopes that the U.S. team will not pass group stage of World Cup

Bheki Cele

General of South African Police, Bheki Cele, expressed today his hope that the team of the United States will not pass the group stage of World Cup 2010, and so prevent the visit of U.S. president Barack Obama to South Africa.Speaking in parliament on security problems in the organization of 2010 World Cup, Bheki Cele said that Obama probably will arrive in South Africa if the U.S. team pass a group stage of World Cup.All our prayers are now focused on the fact that Americans do not arrive in the second phase, but to be eliminated in the first phase and go home - said Bheki Cele, arguing that securing Obama would be very difficult task, given that all available forces already are engaged in maintaining order."For now, it is announced that in South Africa during the FIFA World Cup will arrive chiefs of 43 countries, but securing Obama will be equal operation as securing those 43 head of states", sad Cele.
